Senior Engineer
Location: Glasgow
A Company which enjoys a reputation as one of the country’s leading multi-disciplinary consulting engineering companies seek a senior engineer. The role involves (but is not limited to) being responsible for managing a small team of up to 5 individuals, delivering up to 10 projects concurrently to time and to budget, daily management of projects reporting to Project Manager,
design and Design Management from inception to completion, supervising and managing assistant engineers and technicians, liaison with other members of project teams both internal and external, liaising with internal and external sub contractors, involvement with cost management, tenders, invoicing of projects, client presentations, circa 75% of time will be spent on Design.
Degree Qualified
Professionally qualified Chartered Civil Engineer*completion of training scheme
5 – 10 years engineering experience, minimum 3 years within a rail environment
Ideally personnel management and project management experience
Previous consultancy experience
Good design experience
